DIY Glowing and Hydrated Face Mask Using Only 3 Ingredients

12:00 PM

The cooler seasons have arrived. Slight skin damage comes along with the cooler seasons which often cause dry, dull and flaky skin. Here I will show you a simple face mask you can make at home to hydrate and clear up your skin. I have a lot of eggs and honey laying around my home and decided to put them to use and turn it into a face mask to save your skin from the harsh weather lately.

Many beauty experts suggest using a natural honey face mask to deep cleanse your skin. Many store bought face masks add up a lot after time when using them every week. Recently, I've found a way to make a face mask just as good if not better than store bought ones.

This is one of my favorite store bought face masks. It's three dollars for one.

I love to make homemade face masks every week because they renew my skin and get all the week's dirt and oil out of my pores. Many retail name brand face masks are so expensive. You can make this face mask with items you have laying around your home. Here's how I make my DIY egg white face mask that cost less than 3 dollars!

P.S. make sure you already did your regular skin regimen and your hair is pulled back out of your face.

The ingredients you'll need are:
1 Egg White
1 Teaspoon of Freshly Squeezed Lemon
1/2 Teaspoon of Honey

Benefits of Lemons:
  • eliminates blackheads
  • gently exfoliates skin
  • fades dark spots
  • evens out skin tone
  • brighten and lighten skin
  • lighten aging spots
Benefits of Honey:
  • moisturizes skin
  • slows down aging
  • anti-bacterial properties treat acne
  • unclogs pores
  • creates luminous glow
Benefits of Egg Whites:
  • draw oil from pores
  • tightens skin
  • diminishes fine lines
  • remove dead skin cells
  • nourish skin
Instructions:
1. Separate the egg yolk from the egg white by putting the egg in a water bottle and squeezing the bottle lightly.
2. Put all the ingredients in the bowl.
3. Mix them all together.
4. Apply mixture to your face carefully (it's very runny).
5. Leave it on for 20 minutes.

After the time is up, rinse with warm water gently. Pat dry your face with a towel to keep the moisture in your face. Your all done! Repeat as needed, I recommend once a week!

Did you use this face mask? What were your results?
